Shioji-san

Okay well it's been brought to my attention that I don't draw femmes enough, though more of the problem is that I actually have VERY little female characters. the only characters I have are Red Storm and Haste, and actually through out my whole OC making career I actually only have about 5 total female characters. And after some real thought I think I have come up with my reason for never having made femmes and focusing on them. The first I'm sure I have brought up before but it's the whole I don't' really have a good female remodel in my life when I was growing up. When growing up I always just kinda looked up to the cartoons which kinda brings me to my next reason, the cartoons I watched I admired them because real life bored me, and still does int fact. And while growing up there hadn't been a SINGLE female character I liked until Avatar the Last Airbender came on and I saw Toph and Azula. Which I thought her pretty cool. But still that started in about 2005, which I was already 16 and had my mind pretty much made up about female characters. So yeah needless to say, while growing up I kinda of developed a negativity toward female characters I suppose.

Though recently pretty much got demanded to make a female character, though I can't really come up with character's design without thinking about their personality, and so I guess currectly I'm looking for inspiration to create a female character that I would draw more than once or twice.

So I ask what exactly inspires you all for a female character? And don't say 'think of yourself as a tf' because that's just lame =3= but are there characters that inspire you? does it come to you after some thought, or are you lucky enough to just think of it on a whim?
